And that’s exactly why Gill Blake Coaching exists to help you move forward, with clarity, confidence, and a plan that actually works.

After earning my degree and qualifying as a Clinical Exercise Scientist, I spent more than a decade helping people overcome injury and chronic pain through rehabilitation and long-term movement support. Seeing clients walk back into life pain-free, active, and confident was incredibly rewarding. But what I noticed time and time again was this: once people left the clinic, they needed ongoing guidance to truly reach their potential.

That’s where Gill Blake Coaching was born or you could say reborn! 

As a lifelong athlete from competing nationally in dressage to stepping into the world of HYROX, one of the toughest hybrid fitness events in the world. I understand what it feels like to push your limits, both physically and mentally. I also understand what happens when your body doesn’t keep up.

So whether your goal is to:

  • Run your first 5K or 10K,

  • Return to sport after injury,

  • Build strength and confidence in the gym, or

  • Transition into a new discipline entirely

I’ve always been passionate about helping people feel and move better whether that’s getting stronger, recovering from injury, or unlocking new levels of performance.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Clinical Exercise Science with a focus on both clinical and sports rehabilitation, and a postgraduate certificate in stroke rehab. I’m also a certified Personal Trainer, L4 Nutritionist and a Level 5 sports massage therapist.

Beyond the science, I live and breathe this lifestyle too, competing in HYROX recently placing 3rd in my age group at the 2025 World Championships and know what it takes to balance training with real life.

At Gill Blake Coaching, I bring all of that into every session blending clinical knowledge, lived experience, and a supportive coaching style that meets you exactly where you are.
